Thank you for your interest in Chesterbrook Academy Elementary and Middle School in Cary. We are honored and thrilled to have the chance to welcome your family into our community. Let me tell you why our school is such a great place.

Since we opened in 2000, we have helped children from preschool through 8th grade learn and grow. Our families love our personalized, standards-based curriculum that helps every child succeed. Our teachers are caring and dedicated individuals who use their creativity to bring our program to life.

Our curriculum is founded on rich and challenging content that engages our students and inspires them to develop a love of learning. However, we believe that learning is more than just reading and math. That is why we include art, music, technology, Spanish, Mandarin, and gym. These classes are essential to educating the whole child.

We know that children receive the best possible education when families are involved. For that reason, we stay connected with families through newsletters and emails. Good communication with families is a way of life at our school.

We require all students to wear a school uniform unless otherwise directed.

Where can I purchase my child’s uniform and logo wear?

Uniforms and logo wear are available through School Uniforms by Tommy Hilfiger.

What are the hours of operation at your school?

Our academic day is 8:30 am–3:30 pm. Extended hours are 7:00 am–5:30 pm.

What are the drop off and pick up procedures?

If your child is in before care, walk them to the building, ring the bell, and a staff member will take them to a classroom. If your child is not in before care, drop them off in carpool between 8:00 and 8:25 am.

If your child is in after care, come to the door, ring the bell, and meet them in the foyer. If your child is not in after care, pick them up in carpool between 3:40 and 4:00 pm.

Is your school accredited?

Yes. We are fully accredited by Cognia.

Can children who are not enrolled join Chesterbrook Academy camps?

Yes! We are excited to welcome children from the Cary community to our camps. Our summer camps are open to all children from preschool through 8th grade, whether they are enrolled at our school or not. Holiday break camps may be reserved for enrolled students only, depending on availability.
