Dear Parents
We had a fun and fantastic October and as we progress through fall, we are excited for an awesome November as well. In addition to all of our great activities such as Techstars and Mystery Readers, we also are looking forward to our Fall Festival at the end of the month. We hope everyone joins us for this event! It is a great opportunity to visit each classroom, create a work of art and speak with the teachers. We always enjoy spending time together!
Also this month, we will be closed on Tuesday, November 8th. It is our Professional Development Day where the principals bring back all of the valuable knowledge learned at conference last month and train all of the teachers. We also have our Fire Safety training at this time.
November is when we step back and give thanks. Please keep and eye out for posted opportunities to donate during this holiday season. We will be closed in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, November 24th.
Reminders:
* We are a peanut free school.
* If your child is sick, we will adhere to our sick policy.
* Please make sure to check your child’s cubby and/or mailbox for important information.
*The weather will be getting cooler soon. Please update your child’s spare clothing.
I hope you have a fun and safe month!
Sincerely,
Michele Somishka
