Our new school year has started off extremely well.  We would like to welcome everyone back to school for the 2016-2017 school year.  As the new year began we rolled out our new tool LINKS TO HOME as a way to better communicate with our families.  This has been a huge success and we hear every day what a joy it is to have so much information in the palm of your hand.  If you are not receiving emails, or complete information regarding your child please take time to stop in the office.  It is important to use a personal email as work emails often are sensitive to receipt of outside information.  In addition change of employment can cause a delay in receiving the information you may need.

Lifetouch will be here on October 3rd through the 5th.  Classrooms 1, 2, and 3 will be photographed on Monday October 3rd.  Classrooms 4 and 5 will be photographed on Tuesday October 4th.  Classrooms 6 and 7 will be photographed on Wednesday October 5th.  Siblings will be taken on the youngest child’s photo date.  There has been a sheet sent home with every child allowing you to personalize the background choice for your child.  Please return this form to your child’s teacher.

Fall Festival 2016 is OCTOBER 20th 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

This is one of our largest and most attended events by current and former families.  The parking lot turns into a world of fall fun for everyone to join in the fun and games.  Small donations are taken for bake goods, pizza dinner, and raffles.  The event is held from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. . Come out join the fun and let your kid inside play.  Wear a costume, trunk or treat, paint your face or just step back and see what great things are happening at Chesterbrook Academy.

During the Fall Festival Ms. Sheila will become an ice cream sundae!  Bring out your donations to purchase cups of toppings.  You can help create a beautiful ice cream sundae using Ms. Sheila!

Our Yankee Candle event runs October 10th – October 23rd.  This is a very popular product as the name is recognized for quality of product.  The Yankee candle event can be hosted on your social media page and through apps on your smart phone.  Share the code with family and friends close to you in town or out o f state.  They can support your child’s participation in this activity.  Funds raised from this event will be used to purchase new books for the classrooms.
