Chesterbrook Academy Families,
We had a great back to school season and look forward to spending the rest of the school year with all the families that joined us this year. We have only a few opening in the school and look forward to our open house for new families on November 7th. Remember you can earn a free week of tuition by referring a friend, family or coworker to our school. Details are available in the office.
November 11th our school will be closed while our staff participate in a professional development day. The bi annual event will allow our staff to train in topics related to the early childhood field and safety classes Chesterbrook Academy requires their staff to hold.
During the holiday season our school has limited closings in order to better serve your family. We will be closed Thanksgiving Day and the day after Thanksgiving. There is no change to tuition during these closures. If your child will be absent please let us know in advance. This does not change tuition charges, but does allow us to reduce staff hours who would like to spend time with their families.
Thank you for all who participated in the Fall Festival and the recent sales of items we have had. The Yankee Candle sale was our most popular. The popcorn sale that begins November 6th has great items for those holiday gifts for less than $15.00. Great gifts for that person who has everything, or the person who deserves something special in their stocking this year.
Welcome to our staff the new teachers. Ms. Nikki in the two year old program, Ms. Jennifer in the three year old classroom, Ms. Betsy in the infant classroom, Ms. Mindy cooking for our school, and Ms. Humera helping in the afternoon in multiple classrooms. Each of these ladies bring experience and educational background to our school.
Don’t forget to check the school calendar for upcoming events in the school. If you are not receiving emails please let us know so we can update our list to include you. We will be notifying families with important messages including bad weather alerts and closures.
Have a great day!
Ms. Sheila
