Dear CBA Families,
Our annual holiday giving initiative is a way for students to spread cheer this holiday season while developing an appreciation for what they have, showing gratitude towards others, and seeing the positive impact of their actions. With that being said, we want to personally thank each of you that took the time to donate to our annual food drive. We will be bringing all of our donations to Christian Ministries of Lincoln County to help feed local families.
This month we are giving back to the community by collecting toys for local families in our county. We have put angels on our tree in the lobby for our families to take. Blue represents a boy and pink represents a girl. Their ages are written on the front of the angel and there is more information on the back of each. As a reminder, please do not wrap the gifts, simply tape the angel to the gift and return them under the tree by December 11th.
As the winter season approaches, we are filled with excitement for the festivities ahead. We believe in creating a nurturing environment that celebrates the rich traditions that make each family unique. This month, our students will explore different holiday traditions from around the world through hands-on activities, music, art, and more. Be sure to keep an eye on your Links 2 Home app for pictures and more information on daily activities throughout the month.
Winter weather is already upon us and we’d like to remind all of our families to dress their children in weather appropriate clothing and to make sure their cubbies have been refreshed as well. We will be taking students out daily, so please be sure they have a coat, hat, and gloves for the colder days. These can be left in their cubby if you wish.
Our classrooms will be having their holiday activities on Friday, December 20th. We will be having a holiday spirit week December 16th-20th. We will be closed for the Christmas holiday on December 24th and December 25th. We will be closing at 2 p.m. on December 31st and we will be closed for New Year’s Day on January 1st. Please see the monthly calendar on our website for more information on events happening in December. Wishing you and our family a safe, happy, and healthy holiday season!
Sincerely,
Kristie Salmon
