Dear Families,
Wow! Spring is in the air, with all of this rain, but we needed it! It never ceases to amaze us how time goes by so fast, and your little ones grow by leaps and bounds! Thank you for being so committed to our preschool and for all you do to help make our school a community. Most of all, thank you for sharing your beautiful children with us!
Many engaging and exciting activities will occur in May: Mother’s Day, Teacher Appreciation Week, and our Pre-K Graduation is right around the corner. It will undoubtedly be a bittersweet moment to bid farewell to our emerging Kindergarteners, but we look forward to celebrating this special milestone with you!!
Our staff is dedicated to your children, showing patience and love in their work. Please take the time to thank them for all that they do as we celebrate teacher appreciation week, May 2-6. Parents, once again, we would like to thank you on behalf of our entire staff for your ongoing support.
OH, WHAT FUN WE HAD ON EARTH DAY!
Thank you for donating treat supplies to make edible ladybugs and joining us to release 10,000 Ladybugs! Our students had a great time!
We want to take the time to recognize any family who may have lost a loved one or who has a loved one currently serving in the armed services on behalf of our country. We recognize the sacrifices families make and wish you a Happy Memorial Day.
In Remembrance we will be CLOSED: MONDAY, MAY 29TH

Summer Camp
Elementary Age & Preschool
June 5th – August 9th
Bring Out Your Child’s Best This Summer
This summer is your child’s time to shine, and we are here to help. Our counselors and specialists do what they enjoy most: inspire campers to explore, reach for new heights, and expand their horizons. Your child will make new friends, master new skills, and engage in enriching activities – all while having fun in a safe and secure environment.
Preschool Camp
Our Links to Learning Curriculum is a year-long program, but we add in even more exciting activities and special events during the summer for campers ages 1 to 4. Themed activity blocks are sprinkled throughout each week, giving campers variety in their day. This year’s blocks include Art Adventures, Music Makers, Food Fun, Water Works, Let’s Go Garden, Messy Mixtures, and more.
Kindergarten Enrichment
Parents loved our Kindergarten Enrichment program last summer, so we are bringing it back again this year. Designed for preschool graduates starting kindergarten in the fall, we work on sharpening literacy and math skills, while also providing opportunities to practice kindergarten etiquette through authentic play and collaborative learning. Students have a blast engaging in inquiry-based, hands-on activities that build upon foundational skills, such as science and engineering.
School-Age Camp
We haven’t forgotten about school-age children. Many of our preschools also offer summer camp for students ages 5 to 12. Students jump into action as they explore science and nature, creative and performing arts, sports and games, and so much more. Our camp features a unique selection of indoor and outdoor activities and field trips that take advantage of resources in the local area. Just like our preschool camp, activity blocks add variety in the camp day.
Get ready to see your child shine! We can’t wait to see you soon.
The World is Evolving, and So Has Our Curriculum
Our goal has always been to provide a learning environment that fosters curiosity and creativity and prepares children for kindergarten and beyond. We evaluate our proprietary curriculum, Links to Learning, regularly to ensure that we continue delivering the program students need.
We know that the world is constantly evolving, and the skills children need today are different from what they were even a few years ago. Because of this, we’ve made the following important enhancements to our curriculum.
- Children have more opportunities to practice social-emotional skills.
Social-emotional learning has always been a hallmark of our curriculum, as these skills are just as important as foundational academic skills. We want our students to be happy, thriving, and making friends. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve added even more hands-on activities for children to practice setting goals, problem-solving, developing self-confidence and sharing. As always, our teachers help children by modeling appropriate behaviors, giving effective praise, and providing verbal and visual cues.
- Children participate in more hands-on activities to provoke questions and attitudes about themselves and others.
When children feel emotionally and physically safe, they are more likely to take on challenges and be more comfortable in their learning. We’ve always been steadfast in our commitment to designing classrooms and teaching strategies that support diversity, inclusion, and belonging. We’ve added more items to help facilitate that learning, such as dolls with various skin tones, puzzles and games depicting various cultures, musical instruments from other countries, and culturally diverse dramatic play props.
- We’ve enhanced skills throughout all subject areas to further prepare children for elementary school and beyond.
We’ve integrated more opportunities during the day for your child to strengthen the muscles needed for writing across various subject areas. This includes activities to exercise fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination using safety scissors, tweezers, tongs, and paintbrushes. We’ve also adapted a spiralized approach to our Spanish curriculum, meaning that teachers will introduce new vocabulary while reviewing the vocabulary learned in younger classrooms. Children have opportunities to practice Spanish during transitions, centers, and even in outdoor learning experiences.
- We’ve updated our family communication pieces.
We place a premium on making sure our families know what skills their child is working on, how they’re progressing, and what they’re loving most. We’ve included a QR code in our End of the Month folders so families can digitally see all the skills and goals their child achieved that month. Continuing the learning at home is now even easier with our refreshed Baby Sign Language poster, Spanish posters, and activity letters. Our Links 2 Home app and Family Reports have also been updated to give teachers space to showcase how each child is practicing social-emotional skills and the progress they are making.

Our sick policy aims to reduce the spread of illness among our students and encourage full recovery of sick children before they return to school. We depend on parents to assist us in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all our children.
