October Newsletter

A Note from our Principal

Fall is in full swing! Our students are having a blast exploring colored leaves and feeling the crisp air outdoors as they participate in fun, seasonal activities. Mark your calendars! Our Fall Festival event is on Friday, October 21st and we hope to see all of you there with your children. We’ll have games, refreshments, and fun fall activities. We look forward to another month full of learning, fun, and play!

Sincerely,

Sara Connor

Halloween Parade

Our classrooms will be celebrating Halloween by doing crafts, playing outdoor games with their classmates, and celebrating in costume during the parade on Friday, October 28th @ 3:15 pm.

2 parents or guardians are permitted per family, not per child.

To keep each classroom’s cohorts together, there will be assigned spots. Please see below to find out where you will need to go to view the parade:

Infants parents/guardians will be out on the front parking lot close to the playground.

Kindergarten parents/guardians will be out on the front parking lot close to the entrance.

Pre-K and Pre-K2 parents/guardians will be on the Pre-K playground.

Intermediates parents/guardians will be on the Toddler playground close to the Pre-K playground.

Toddlers parents/guardians will be on the Toddler playground.

Beginners parents/guardians will be on the Toddler playground near the stone wall.

There will be no rain date. If the weather does not cooperate, we will send an email out in the morning and hold a virtual parade to send out via email at the end of the day. Fingers crossed for sunny weather!!

** This event is optional; you are not required to participate if you do not wish to do so.

Our parking lot is not big enough to hold all the parent vehicles. Following these guidelines will allow us to enjoy the Halloween parade which was once one of our most anticipated activities of the year!

More Details to come as we get closer to the event.
