Dear Chesterbrook Families,
August is coming to an end and another school year is upon us! We had an amazing summer camp with our students and we are so thankful for the memories that we’ve created this summer. We want to thank everyone for coming out to the End of Summer Luau. We are so glad that we are able to get all of our families together again for these events!
We would like to take a moment to welcome all of our new families and to thank our current families for your continued support. We are beyond excited to begin this next school year and to see all the growth that will take place. Throughout the next couple of weeks our teachers will be focusing on getting to know their students, how they can best support them, and creating routines with them all while providing fun academic experiences.
September is already set to be a busy month at our school. As a reminder, we will be closed on Monday, September 5th for Labor Day. We look forward to welcoming back Tumble Bus and Soccer Shots within the first few weeks of the month. We will also be hosting the Scholastic Book Fair the week of September 19th. Next week we will be collecting snacks and drinks to distribute to the first responders in our area. There will be a donation box in the lobby for donations of prepackaged snacks and bottled/canned drinks.
Our Fall Festival and Open House event is on Saturday, October 22nd from 10am-1pm. We hope that you’ll come join us for games, refreshments, and fun fall activities. Please be on the lookout for more details regarding the Fall Festival as we get closer to October.
Thank you for being the amazing families that you are and for giving us the opportunity to support and nurture your children as they grow.
Kindest Regards,
Kristie Salmon
