A Note From Our Principal
Summer is here and we are teaching, learning, and growing together! Our students are jumping into action, playing games, exploring nature, being creative, and participating in other fun summer-themed activities. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer holds for us. This month, we are rocking out with kindness, exploring our athletic prowess and having lots of fun in the sun and water! We will be having our annual summer Kids Help Kids campaign starting on July 11. This year, our charity of choice is the Interfaith Food Shuttle’s Back Pack Buddies program.
Each class has a designated waterplay day:
Beginners and Intermediates (Rooms 1 and 2) – Tuesdays
Pre-K 1 (Room 5) – Wednesdays
Infants and Toddlers (Rooms 6, 3 nd 4) – Thursdays
Pre-K2 – Fridays
Sincerely,
Independence Day Activities
Our classrooms worked on festive activities for July 4th all week long. Let’s wear our red, white, and blue on June 29th in honor of Independence Day! We had an all American picnic and parade, complete with snow cones!
Kids Helping Communities
Each summer, we participate in a service initiative to give back to communities in need. This summer, we will be collecting for the Back Pack Buddies Program. We will be sending additional information soon via Links 2 Home.
Cubby Refresh
As a reminder, please make sure to refresh the spare clothing in your child’s cubby. Take home anything that no longer fits and leave a spare set of well-fitting, weather-appropriate clothes.
