A Note From Our Principal
Happy April! Spring has arrived and the weather has been beautiful. Taking advantage of the nice weather helps children learn and grow as they discover new things in their environment. We are looking forward to many exciting events this moth. We are celebrating Week of the Young Child from April 4th-8th. The students will love the activities we are planning, including music, art, and even food. We are having our annual Spring Hat Parade on Wednesday April 13th. The children and the parents love this parade with all the creative hats! Earth week is coming too. We will have daily activities such as recycled art projects, gardening lessons, and the ladybug release.
Our school-age summer camp and Kindergarten Enrichment are almost full. Don’t miss the summer fun and learning! Reserve your spot today, space is limited.
Sincerely,
Kim Hage
Week of the Young Child
Week of the Young Child, April 4th-8th, is an annual celebration sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) celebrating early learning, young children, their teachers and families. We have many fun activities planned for Music Monday, Tasty Tuesday, Work Together Wednesday, Artsy Thursday and Family Friday. We will send more information via Links 2 Home soon.
Earth Day
Our classes will be celebrating Earth Day with an entire week of activities. We will do playground clean-ups, gardening, recycled art projects, birdseed ornaments, and of course the ladybug release. Dress your child in black and red or anything with ladybugs on it that you may have. We can’t wait to share photos with you.
Parent Survey Reminder
Our enrolled parent survey closes April 15th. This survey provides the opportunity for you to give us feedback anonymously on our strengths and areas we can work on. Please let us know if you haven’t received it.
