February was another great month here at our school. We celebrated Black History month and Valentine’s Day with our friends. In anticipation of spring, our teachers are busy planning meaningful learning activities that will help students gain an appreciation for the changing seasons.
March is national reading month and Dr. Seuss’ birthday. This month, our teachers have fun activities planned to include reading and reenacting favorite books, introducing students to new titles, and much more. Below is a list of important dates to remember this month:
March 13th: Daylight Savings Time Begins
March 15th & 16th: Lifetouch Picture Days
March 17th: St. Patrick’s Day/Classroom Celebrations
Please also check our monthly calendar on the website for more important dates to remember.
As a reminder, priority re-registration for our current families for the 2022-2023 school year is ending soon. If you still need to register your child, you have until the 18th to receive 25% off the registration fee. Also, our enrolled parent survey launches March 16th. The survey provides the opportunity for you to give us feedback anonymously on our strengths and areas we can work on. Please keep an eye out!
The first day of Spring is March 20th and the warmer weather is upon us. Please take a moment during pick up or drop off to check your child’s cubby box. They should have at least two sets of weather appropriate clothing. Our students enjoy daily outside time during the morning when it is still chilly out, so be sure to bring a jacket for your child.
Thank you for your continued support each day. We appreciate each one of our CBA families!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Kristie Salmon
