A Note From Our Principal
Dear Parents,
It is hard to believe that we only have less than two weeks of summer camp! The summer seemed to fly by! What a busy but fun summer it has been! Swimming, crafts and fun tend to help. I would like to take this time to thank all of our families who will be leaving us at the end of summer, and wish you luck for the upcoming school year. Remember the last day of summer camp will be Thursday, August 12th.
We are glad for the families that will be staying with us! We are also excited to meet all of the new families who will be joining us for the new school year. Our teachers are beginning to prep for the school year and we are busy working on classroom assignments. Please make sure to complete and return the annual paperwork that you received so that we can update all of your child’s records. I know we are all busy and it is a lot of paperwork but the sooner we get that back the better. These are DSS regulations that must be signed every year.
Our Meet & Greet Hot Dog social will be held on Friday, August 13th from 1:00 pm-5:00 pm and we look forward to seeing all of you there. This is a great opportunity to meet your child’s new teacher, meet some friends in the class and to explore their new classroom. We will be closed to children on the 13th, as our teachers prepare for the new school year.
Monday, August 16th will be our first day of school for the 2021-2022 school year. It will bring some tears (from both children and parents) but remember we promise to take care of your little ones and make the transition as easy as possible. We have lots of hands on deck to help in the sticky situations.
As always, if you have questions, please come and see Ms. Andrea, Ms. Ramona or myself. We are more than happy to help you.
Thank you all for a great summer, let’s get prepared for a successful new school year!!
Sincerely,
Tara Clerc

The survey will be sent via email and we’d love for all parents to participate so we can celebrate our successes and make plans to improve our program next summer.
