Dear Families,
Summer is in full swing and we are having a great time teaching and learning with our students! Some of our favorite memories so far have been our visits from Fish the Magish, Soccer Shots, Kool Kat Ice cream truck, and Kona Ice. This month we are celebrating Independence Day and campers are jumping into action, playing games, exploring nature, being creative, and participating in other fun summer-themed activities. We look forward to many more exciting in house field trips and activities!
In celebration of Independence Day we will wear Red, White, and Blue on Friday, July 2nd. We will also be closed on Monday July 5th. Please be sure to check the website for more events that are happening this month.
We are excited to announce that, with the help of our CBA families, we will be raising money to donate to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation throughout the month of July! Our donations will go toward paying for research to find better treatments and cures for childhood cancer. You can donate throughout the month through our personalized link (https://www.alexslemonade.org/mypage/2540759). On Friday, July 30th, with the help of our students, we will be hosting an in person lemonade stand to raise additional funds for donation.
As a reminder, we will continue to have “water play Wednesdays” each week throughout the summer. Please refer to the July camp calendar for daily activities throughout the month. Thank you for your continued dedication and support!
Sincerely,
Ms. Chandrea
Mrs. Lindsey
