From the Principal:
March is here and so is the promise of Spring! This is the month of magical things. We celebrate the birthday of Dr. Seuss and all of his wonderful and wacky stories. We also celebrate the magic of leprechauns and their mischievous ways. It is a colorful month full of rainbows and hope. We use our imagination and our talents to solve problems. With creativity and skill, the children figure out ways to catch the leprechauns who enjoy playing tricks on the teachers and their classes. It is a great exercise for their minds and an avenue to discuss so many different behaviors.
As much fun as the children will have, they will also be doing acts of kindness for our sister schools in Texas. The children will be making cards to help spread good wishes and cheer to those affected by the devastating storms that hit their area and knocked out power and flooded buildings.
Our Little Caesar’s Pizza sale is still going on, so if you thought you missed the opportunity to buy some fun, you still have time.
Daylight Savings Time begins on Sunday, March 14th-so remember to spring forward! If your drop off or pick up times will be changing due to work adjustments, please remember to let us know so we can staff appropriately for the changes. We base our staff schedules on what is written on your Tuition Agreement, and a change of even 15 minutes can make a big difference in our ratios. If you need to drop off earlier or pick up later than usual, please just give us a courtesy call so we can make sure we have the staff in place to cover the change. We are always happy to oblige whenever we can. Thank you so much for your understanding.
We are also preparing for licensing, so if Ms. Chrissy sends home any papers that are missing from your child’s file, please return them as soon as possible. If your child is due or almost due for his/her annual well- child doctor visit, please schedule it and remember to secure a copy for his/her file here. As always, thank you for all you do to help us maintain our excellent record of compliance. It means a lot.
