January Newsletter
Happy New Year! We can’t wait to spend 2021 with you and your children.
Please take a moment to read through the news and reminders below and let myself or anyone else on our administrative team know if you have questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Illness Policy
Our parents are vital partners in helping us to maintain a safe and healthy environment for the students in our school. The most important thing you can do to assist us in creating a healthy environment is to keep your child home if they are ill. This reduces the spread of illness and allows your child to fully recuperate.
For more information please see our Parent Handbook or reach out to a member of our administrative team.
Links 2 Learning Monthly Folders
Each month our teachers prepare folders that outline what your child has learned in the prior month. These folders have work samples in them and explain the skills that your child is working to master. We send these home at the end of each month and ask that they be returned a few days later. Please let us know if you have any questions about the monthly folders or about your child’s progress!
Kindergarten Registration and Open House
We would like to invite you to a special Kindergarten Open House Date and Time TBD (it will be in February). This special information session is for Pre-K students and will allow you the opportunity to meet with our current Kindergarten instructor, Jillian Winfree, to learn more about the curriculum and what’s in store for the 2021-2022 school year. Take a tour of the intimate classroom setting and see examples of learning in action from the work of our current Kindergarten class.
Our program will hold a maximum of 20 students for 2021-2022. Spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis based on the time at which the registration form is received starting at the Open House Date. Please bring a check of $230.00 to accompany your Kindergarten Registration (this includes a $185.00 KG Materials Fee and a $45.00 Registration Fee).
