A Note From Our Principal:
As we step into the month of October, I want to thank all the parents for helping us jump start the school year. The children and teachers seem to have settled in nicely to their new routines. Fall is in full swing and our students are enjoying the extra outdoor time, nature walks and seasonal curriculum activities. We are planning a few fun fall themed activities for our students this month and are excited to share photos with you all through Links 2 Home.
For the month of October, we have planned a Visit by the Fire Truck for Fire Safety Week, Pumpkin patch, Pumpkin Decorating and a Monster Mash. With the change in the weather, please make sure your child has weather appropriate clothes in their cubby.
As always, we are honored that you have chosen our school to take care of your children!
Sincerely,
Rukina Contractor

New Spirit Wear Coming Soon :
Later this month we will be emailing you all with information on how to order our awesome new Chesterbrook Academy themed school spirit wear. Our families and staff have supported each other and stuck together during this crazy time and we can’t wait to share our school pride with our community. Keep an eye on your inbox for more details!
Pumpkin Decorating Contest :
Students and teachers are hard at work coming up with ideas to decorate their classroom pumpkins. The pumpkins will be on display during pick up and drop off time, from October 27th– 30th and families will have an opportunity to vote for their favorite pumpkin. The winning class gets a special surprise!
Halloween Celebration :
Our classrooms will be celebrating Halloween by doing crafts and playing outdoor games with their classmates on October 30th. We know that families and staff typically look forward to class parade because they allow us to be together as a school community and give parents an opportunity to get to know their child’s classmates and parents. We are still following the CDC guidelines and will be sharing celebration photos with you all on Links 2 Home. Thank you for your positivity and flexibility!
