September really flew by, didn’t it? Fall is certainly in full swing around here. I’m happy that our lives are starting to get back to what we know as normal. It amazes me how during this pandemic, the children continued to be themselves and enjoy being in school regardless of the changes we had to implement. It truly goes to show how children can adapt to just about anything. Even though we as Floridians don’t quite experience the changes associated with Fall, it won’t stop us from learning and enjoying this new season all throughout our classrooms. The children will celebrate Fall in numerous ways through our Links to Learning curriculum, and on October 30th will engage in games/crafts for our Annual Fall Festival. Traditionally, we invite families to join us for our Fall Festival as it allows us to come together as a school community and give parents an opportunity to get to know their child’s classmates and parents; this year due to things beyond our control we will not invite parents and the community to join us. We will be sharing extra photos with you all on Links 2 Home to see the fun and excitement. Thank you for your positivity and flexibility throughout all of this. We invite you to experience a day in the life of a Chesterbrook family by visiting us during our Fall Open House on Saturday, October 17, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Come and see how our teachers work to ensure your child is prepared for the world of tomorrow!
Sincerely,
Angeline Marseille
