Summer has come to an end and another school year is upon us. We’d like to extend a warm welcome to our new families, and a sincere thank you to returning families and those that chose to spend their summer with us. We enjoyed making memories with your children and are looking forward to spending the fall season together. Please review the reminders below carefully so we can make the most of our time together over the next few months. As always, our administrative team is here to answer any questions you may have.

Holiday Closures
Our school does not follow the local elementary school schedule as we are open more days per year. For the 2020-2021 school year the days we are closed are:
- 9/8 – Labor Day
- 11/11 – Veteran’s Day (Professional Development Day for Staff)
- 11/26 and 11/27 – Thanksgiving Holiday
- 12/24 – Christmas Eve (Closing at 12pm)
- 12/25 – Christmas Day
- 1/1/21 – New Year’s Day
- 2/15/21 – President’s Day (Professional Development Day for Staff)
- 4/2/21 – Good Friday
- 5/31/21 – Memorial Day
- 7/5/21 – Independence Day
Fall Cubby Refresh
It’s finally starting to get cooler and we are planning extra outdoor time to take full advantage of the fall season. Please make sure your child has a weather appropriate change of clothes in their cubby and outerwear when applicable.
Security/Car Line Reminders
Please remember that at this time drop off (7:30am-9:00am) and pick up (4:00pm-5:30pm) is still at the door. Please remain in your vehicle to pull forward, unless a staff member directs otherwise. At this time help your child from the car and hand off their lunch box and any clothes or papers that may need to be returned.
If you need to pick up earlier in the afternoon’s before 4:00pm, please call ahead to let us know you are on your way to pick up so when can get your child ready for you.

Uniform Policy
All children from 3 year old Preschool and up are required to wear uniforms daily at Chesterbrook Academy. The official uniform is navy blue (NOT denim) or khaki bottoms and white, navy blue or hunter green solid tops. Girls may also wear navy blue or khaki jumpers, skirts, skorts, or the plaid jumper offered by the uniform company, Flynn & O’Hara. Uniforms can be purchased at Children’s Place, Walmart, Target and Old Navy. Shoes should be preferably athletic type.

Reminders For Parents
Tuition: Parents, please understand the importance of paying your tuition & paying it on time! Payments are due every Friday for the coming week. Late fees will be automatically applied at 12pm on Monday following the due date. Unpaid tuition, more than a week past due, will result in immediate dis-enrollment. To avoid a late fee, make your payment online through the Parent Portal, pay over the phone with credit/debit card, or consider signing up for Automatic Draft. If you have any questions, please see Tara, Andrea, or Ramona in the front office. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
Automatic Payment Program: Parents this is a very easy way for you to not worry about writing those checks every week and avoiding late fees. APP can be used to pay tuition only invoices or all invoices (tuition, registration & activity fees). Please see Tara, Andrea, or Ramona in the front office for details and information on getting signed up.
Parent Ambassador Program: Spread the word about our school and save on your child’s tuition! Refer a new family to our school and you could earn a free week of tuition. For more information on our Ambassador Program, see your school’s principal. The current referring Chesterbrook family will receive a discount after the referred child has attended full time for 3 months. Discount applies to the tuition of the oldest child in the referring family.
