A Note From Principal:
Summer is in full swing at our school! Our children are enjoying splash days and summer curriculum with special activities and various art and crafts. Our children and staff are doing a wonderful job maintaining the health and safety guidelines with temperature checks, wearing masks, social distancing and hand washing routines.
Thank you all for your participation in our Kids Helping Communities initiative this summer! We presented handmade cards to a local police officer and his K-9 partner to thank them for all the work they do. To further give thanks to essential workers, students also made cards that were dropped off at a local fire station and hospital with messages letting them know how important and appreciated they are. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of spreading kindness and showing gratitude for the essential workers in their community.
We still have a few more weeks of summer and our teachers are hard at work preparing our classrooms for the new school year. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have questions.
Sincerely,
Rukina Contractor
