Well, here we are heading into the final few weeks of summer, and boy what a fun-filled summer it was. We are very excited to begin a new school year with new families and returning ones, our teachers are hard at work preparing our classrooms for the new school year. We cannot wait to spend the year learning, growing, and creating beautiful memories. Thank you all for your participation in our Kids Helping Communities initiative this summer! Our school-age campers sprung into action and created posters, flyers, and a small video clip to distribute to families to promote our food drive. We were able to collect a total of 239 food items which will be donated to PBC Food Bank. We are grateful for the opportunity to watch our students serve others these past few weeks and appreciate the role you all had in this.
As we prepare for the new school year to look a little different this year, we must continue to follow the precautions that have been set in order to keep our children and staff safe. We have scheduled a Meet & Greet event via Zoom on August 19th, so parents and children have an opportunity to view the school, meet their new teacher, learn more about our curriculum and daily schedules, receive a classroom parent handbook & supply list and purchase uniform shirts online. Chesterbrook Academy is truly the place to be if you want your child prepared for Kindergarten. Our Links to Learning curriculum is meeting each child’s needs, and our teachers are implementing it beautifully!
With such uncertainty in the world during this pandemic, our children need normalcy now more than ever. If you have not scheduled a virtual tour of our facility, now is the time to do so. Space is limited as more families enroll during this time.
Sincerely,
Angeline Marseille
