It seems as if time is flying by faster than ever. I cannot believe it is August already. We here at Chesterbrook Academy are having a blast this summer with water play, science experiments, cooking projects and virtual field trips. Virtual field trips throughout the month of August will teach our students about the life of a beekeeper, life on the farm and the aquarium.
Thank you all for your participation in our Kids Helping Communities initiative this summer! With your support, we were able to provide the Brandywine Valley SPCA with over 25 pounds of food to distribute to families in need to help them keep their pets during these challenging times. We are grateful for the opportunity to watch our students learn to serve others and appreciate the role you all had in this.
We still have a few more weeks of summer, but our teachers are hard at work preparing our classrooms for the new school year. While things may look a little different as we start off this school year, one thing we know for sure is that the learning will stay the same! We are excited to engage our students in our fun, hands-on Links to Learning Curriculum. Be on the lookout for more Back to School information to come in the following weeks.
