March 2020 Newsletter
March is here and with it comes spring and hopefully warmer weather! We are so excited for this season of new opportunities. Our budding learners will use their five senses to explore the new season: hearing the birds chirp, seeing the flowers blossom, smelling the fresh flowers, feeling the warm breeze and tasting the fresh fruits and vegetables.
March is also the month where we celebrate renowned author Dr. Seuss with a literacy burst! Throughout the month of March, all of our classes will be reading Dr. Seuss books. Students will learn about rhyming words and use their imaginations to create crazy new characters. Be sure to check our calendar for a list of fun days the week of March 2nd-6th. Also, sign up to be a Mystery Reader for your child’s classroom. Sign up sheets are at the front desk.
It is also a great time to check the contents of your child’s cubby. Please make sure they have season appropriate clothing that is the correct size. Also, please label everything! Students frequently have the same spring jacket or water bottle and we want to limit mix ups and lost items.
Have a wonderful month!
