WINTER WEATHER NOTIFICATION
- School closing/ delay opening information will be broadcast by school name only on 6 ACB. Channel 6 gives us both 2 and 3 hour delay opening options. You may also see notices posted on our school website.
- If there is a delayed opening, our normal opening time is 6:30 am (ex: a 2 hour delay would mean we’ll be opening at 8:30 am)
- Information may also be accessed via 6abc.com . Follow the instructions under school closings/ delays/ openings sent directly to your email or mobile device. The schools are listed alphabetically on their website.
- A delayed opening may be issued first, but if weather conditions get worse, a change may be made to close the school for the day.
- When we have school closings during the school day, we will call you and email you with information. It is extremely important to keep emergency contact forms completed and updated with correct phone numbers. If there are any changes to information on your child’s emergency contact sheet, please let administration know right away.
- You can also make changes to your emergency contacts via our parent portal, ALMA.
