A special note of thanks to all of you who so graciously donated items to the Annual Food Drive. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. The Kindergarten Class will be sorting the food, counting the items, making graphs, and using the data to perform other math and science skills. They used their creativity and language and literacy skills to make all of the banners advertising it. Then they will use their muscles to pack up all of the food and deliver it, so it was an all encompassing learning activity for them.
This month we will be kept quite busy with all of the holiday preparations and learning about our First Thanksgiving. The children will be celebrating by having our own Thanksgiving Feast on Thursday, November 21st during their lunch time. Each class will dress up as either Pilgrims or Native Americans and gather together to enjoy the feast with foods they helped make as well as the turkey and trimmings the administrative staff will prepare.
