Dear Parents,
We are heading into fall with so many things to look forward to! This month we celebrate together the continuation of Amazing Athletes and Tech Stars. There is still room to sign up for Tech Stars if you have not done so already. Enrollment forms can be found under the lobby tv.
Fire Safety Week is among us and we will be learning all about it from the Hanover Township Fire Department. They will be joining us on Friday, October 11th at 11am. This is a great opportunity for the children to experience the fire fighters getting into their gear AND get to see the fire trucks up close and in person.
Please join us at Cedar Crest College later this month for their annual Trunk-or-Treat. Some of our teachers will be there handing out Halloween goodies and CBA swag. It is a fun time for all including games, face painting, etc. Can’t make it to Trunk-or-Treat? That’s okay because we are having our own Halloween celebrations right here at school. We will be having a parade in our playgrounds on Halloween morning at 10am. We hope to see you there!
Finally, during the 3rd week of October, I will be away for our annual Principal’s Conference. It is a time where we all learn about the trends in education and how we can better serve our families. We then return and share all of our newly learned information at our staff Professional Development Day in November.
Please check our calendar regularly for updates.
Have a fun and safe October!
Sincerely,
Michele Somishka
