Welcome Back to School! We had a wonderful summer camp, but now it is time to look forward to a fabulous year of exploration and learning. The teachers have been hard at work planning many special activities for this “Welcome Back to School” month. We eagerly await seeing our friends who were not with us for camp and greeting new friends who are just starting with us.
There are a few dates we want you to write on your calendars. We will be having our Back to School Night for parents on Tuesday, September 10th. It is a great opportunity for you to become familiar with your child’s new teachers, meet other families, and ask questions. We will have a brief parent meeting in the Beginner Room #7 at 6:15 pm before breaking out to your child’s classroom at 6:30 pm. For those of you with more than one child, we will have a second session starting at 7:00 pm.
Wednesday, September 11 th will be the first day of Junior Gym’s Session 1. Friday, September 13 th, we will be celebrating Grandparents’ Day in each of our classrooms. Grandparents are invited to visit your child’s class at 3 :00 pm for afternoon snack and a fun activity. Thursday, September 19th and Friday, September 20th are Picture Days. Details about Picture Days will follow.
In closing, I would like to thank you once again for all you do to help and support our school. Your partnership means the world to us and makes a true difference in your child’s success. Please help us keep the lines of communication open and strong. Thank you.
