A Note From Our Principal
Summer is in full swing and we are having a great time teaching and learning with our students! The swimming pool has been very refreshing to our students who are 4 years of age and older, while water play days are a huge hit for our younger children.
We are excited to announce that this month we are welcoming some new year-round staff to our teaching team. Miss Reana will be teaching in our Toddler Room and Miss Eva will be joining our three year old teaching team on July 17th. In addition to these two teachers we will be welcoming Miss Kayla, as our new Assistant Principal. Each of these ladies has a background in Early Childhood Education and we are excited to see what they have to offer and how they will enhance our school community.
Don’t forget to drop me an e-mail or a written notification if your child will be out on vacation and you would like to utilize your vacation credit week. This week is designed to provide you with a free week, while your child is not in our care. We cannot provide you with your credit and still have your child on site.
Don’t forget we will be closed on July 4th – to observe Independence Day!
We can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer holds for us!
Sincerely,
Donna Baus
Splash Day Reminders
We have Splash Days planned for the month of July. As a reminder, students should come to school in their swimsuit (with swim diaper where applicable) and with a towel and a change of dry clothes. Please apply sunscreen to your child before you drop them off. Please check your child’s classroom door to see when their scheduled splash day/water play days are.
Summer Camp Reminders
Each school-age parent should have received a copy of our summer calendar listing all field trips and approximate departure and arrival times. Changes will be communicated through Links 2 Home.
On field trip days, campers should arrive at school wearing their camp t-shirt with sunscreen already applied. Campers should have a reusable water bottle at camp each day. Closed toed, comfortable shoes are required for all field trips except those involving water.
Important Dates
