A Note From Our Principal
Summer is in full swing and we are having a great time teaching and learning with our students! We love having elementary-aged campers here each day, and it’s been a joy to see them interact with our preschoolers in the halls, on occasional classroom visits and at school-wide events. Young children are always captivated by children who are older than they are, and our preschoolers are benefiting from having so many excellent role models in the building this summer. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer holds for us!
This month we are hold Splash Days for our students and taking our campers on some exciting field trips. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Carol

Splash Day Reminders
We have Splash Days planned each Wednesday for the Beginners, Intermediates and Pre K classes. Toddlers will enjoy Splash Days on July 10 and July 24. Please remember to send your child dressed in a swim suit and water shoes (close toed shoes) and don’t forget to apply sunscreen. Have the children bring a towel and a change of clothes.
Summer Camp Reminders
Each school-age parent should have received a copy of our summer calendar listing all field trips and approximate departure and arrival time. Changes will be communicated through LInks 2 Home.
On field trip days, campers should arrive with sunscreen already applied. Campers should also have a reusable water bottle at camp each day. Closed toed, comfortable shoes are required for all field trips except those involving water.
Bake Sale for Make-A-Wish
During the week of July 8, our students and teachers will be baking all types of treats, cookies, cakes, cupcakes, etc. for a bake sale. The bake sale will be held on Thursday, July 11 and Friday, July 12 all day, with all proceeds going to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants the wishes of children with life-threatening conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Through this initiative, our students will learn the importance of helping children in need and making a difference in the greater community in which we live. Support our initiative by purchasing something sweet!
