Summer is in full swing and we are having a great time teaching and learning with our students! We love having school-aged campers here each day, and it’s been a joy to see them interact with our preschoolers in the halls, on occasional classroom visits and at school-wide events.
During the month of July, school-aged campers will be able to sign-up as mystery readers in younger classrooms!
This helps them learn empathy and become more confident in their own reading skills. Young children are always captivated by children who are older than they are, and our preschoolers are benefiting from having so many excellent role models in the building this summer.
