June Newsletter

Thank you for your support of our fun May initiatives. Thank you especially for honoring our teachers with Teacher Appreciation Week. Teachers were spoiled with many gifts, flowers and notes from our students. We were able to honor moms at our afternoon tea and to have many celebrate time in the classroom with your students. In addition, we raised close to $400 for JDRF through our Wednesday pretzel sale! I am grateful for a school family who is so supportive of our community and initiatives to help others.

The celebration of our Class of 2019 happens this week! Congratulations to our PK2 class who will graduate on Thursday. It has been a great journey to see these students soar as they get ready for kindergarten and what lies ahead. Just as we released butterflies from our classrooms into the world, our students are prepared to fly to new destinations.

As we move into June, that means saying good bye (temporarily) to some, and others are getting ready for classroom moves and a fun camp season. Schedules and shifts for camp should be in this week. If you are leaving for the summer and need drop in care on any day(s), please see the admin team to arrange that. We would be happy to have you visit us.

Construction is rapidly moving forward. Phase I is very close to completion and transitions to the new building may happen in the next 30 days. Construction and renovations of our existing space is scheduled to start this month, so stay tuned for classroom organization and temporary moves during this exciting time. You may see many new teacher faces as well. These individuals are floating through our classrooms for training and placement in our new building. Teacher bios will be available after assignments are made. Be sure to say hello to all, and they will do the same.

Lastly, this month we honor the dads and father figures in our lives. We hope you can join us on Friday, June 14 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. for some outdoor fun with your students and Mr. Nik (our Little Sports vendor).

Wishing you a safe and health summer!
