Dear Parents,
April was a great month at our school! Our Spring Hat Parade was so much fun and the parents enjoyed joining their child as we marched around the school.
Our school Earth Day celebration was a hit! Together, students at our school released 3,000 ladybugs into the environment to act as a natural pesticide and feed on harmful insects . We even made the local news!
Celebrating Earth Day as a community provides our teachers with many opportunities to relate science, math and literacy concepts to everyday life. As we move into May, we are getting our classrooms ready for a summer of additional enrichment for our preschool students and summer camp for our school-age students. We can’t wait to spend summer with you and your children!
Sincerely,
Kim Hage
