Dear Families,
Happy New Year! We want to thank everyone for a wonderful 2018 school year and we can not wait to begin 2019 with all of you!!
What a busy month of December we had! Santa came to visit, we teamed up with our Eurofins family to carol throughout their building and all our classrooms had fun winter parties for our families to participate in. December just flew by. In addition, we raised over 45 pair of pajamas to donate to Coby’s through Scholastic Books. Scholastic will also donate children’s books in the same amount in our honor. Thank you to those who were able to participate.
Another fun and new event was our Santa workshop! This activity was so exciting. As teachers its was great to be able to explain the gift of giving to our little friends and help them pick out something special for their loved ones. I hope everyone enjoyed opening their special gift. I know some of my little friends couldn’t wait till Christmas Day.
Please remember to check emails on a weekly basis to receive your Weekly reflection through Tadpoles. Read below for updates and policy reminders.
As always, our doors are always open if you have any questions or concerns.
Lets make 2019 our best year together ever!
Always,
Tanya Meshey

Illness Policy
As we move into the coldest part of our year, we would like to remind everyone of our illness policy. Our parents are vital partners in helping us to maintain a safe and healthy environment for the students in our school. The most important thing you can do to assist us in creating a healthy environment is to keep your child home if they are ill. This reduces the spread of illness and allows your child to fully recuperate. Children may not attend school until they have been symptom free for 24 hours if they display any of the following:
· Fever of 100 degrees of more—must be fever free for 24 hours with no fever-reducing medicine before returning to school
· Vomiting, diarrhea or stomach upset
· Heavy nasal discharge requiring wiping every 305 minutes
· Persistent, non-productive or barking cough
· Sore throat
· Skin rash, including diaper rash
· Head lice
· Symptoms of a communicable disease
· Fussy, cranky behavior unlike child’s normal demeanor that may indicate illness
For more information please see our Parent Handbook or reach out to a member of our administrative team.
