Happy New Year!
Can you believe we are welcoming in 2019? How time surely flies, and the planning for our second part of the school year is in full force.
Let me again thank you for all the many tokens of appreciation last month. Your generosity and thoughtfulness is surely special, and we appreciate all of our CBA families. We hope you had great holiday memories, snuggles with a good book from our lending library, and enjoyed the many gifts from the Secret Holiday Shop.
The days of winter are here and that means the possibility of inclement weather. Please be sure to tune in 6ABC or watch your email for weather updates as we do not follow the local school schedule. Although the brisk days are here to stay, we do try to go outside for SPARK (sports, play and active recreations for kids) provided temperatures are above 32 degrees. Please be sure your child has seasonal and appropriate sized clothing.
Looking ahead, we are open on MLK day, but are closed on February 18 for faculty in-service day. Please plan accordingly.
We also have new ancillary programs starting this month:
Lil Sports begins on Friday, January 4 8 weeks for $96
Makin’ Music beings on Monday, January 7 10 weeks for $120
Please inform Nina or Jen if you would like to register your child these programs.
Lastly, our next great fundraiser will begin this month. It’s Yankee Candle! Stay tuned for details of these well-known products and how you can help our school.
With thanks for all you do!
