Dear Parents,
Happy New Year! We can’t wait to spend 2019 with you and your children. Thank you to all who participated in our holiday giving initiative last month. Our parents are the best! Our Giving Tree was a huge success. All of the Giving Tree tickets were picked off the tree in less than two days! We collected 46 gifts for the deserving children in Ms. Major’s Head Start Program at Deerfield Beach Elementary. Your generosity was truly appreciated. The thank you cards and photos are displayed on the bulletin board in the front lobby.
Our students loved shopping at the Lil’ Shoppers Holiday Shop. They enjoyed choosing gifts for all their friends and family. Thank you for letting your child make their own decisions and participate in the act of giving during holidays.
All of our students had fun at our Winter parties. The Pre-K students had multicultural parties with different foods from around the world. The younger classrooms had pajama parties with hot chocolate and cookies.
We also enjoyed having our school age students with us during winter break camp. They had a great time on their field trips, especially ice skating! Thank you to all who were able to join us.
We are expecting 2019 to be a terrific year. We have many exciting events and programs coming soon, like Parent Appreciation Day. Please tell your friends and family about our Open House on Saturday, January 26th. Take a moment to read through the news and reminders below. Let anyone on our administrative team know if you have questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Kim Hage, Principal
