I can hardly believe that summer is coming to and end, but I can’t wait for Fall! I love hoodies, football, cooler days, nights by the fire and fall colors! This month was busy as we opened up a new Intermediate classroom for our 3-4 year old friends. They have been spending the last two weeks getting to know their new room, materials in the classroom and new friends. We invited back some of our Pre K Counts friends and have introduced many new families into our little Chesterbrook family. We are looking forward to an exciting September.

Carnival for Leukemia
- This year our annual carnival to support our center team, Whitney’s Warriors will be on September 27 from 6:00-7:00 pm. There will be food, games, face painting and lots of family fun! Tickets will be available the evening of the carnival.
Charlestown Wrap fund raiser
- We will be participating in a company wide fundraiser from September 4 to September 17. Families will receive information on September 4. This year’s fundraiser is full of fun wrapping paper, exciting kitchen gadgets and lots of yummy candy.
A few health and safety reminders
- As we begin our new school year please remember the following health and safety guidelines while dropping your children off and picking them up.
- -please wash hands upon entering the classroom
- -please turn your car off in the parking lot when dropping off and picking up for the safety of all our families, children and staff
- -please refrain from parking in the fire lane beside the building
Scholastic Book Fair
- Its book fair time again!! My favorite time of year! This year teachers will be able to take a sneak peek at the books that Scholastic has available prior to the fair opening. Families will have the opportunity to purchase books every evening from 3-6 as well as during the day. Older classrooms will visit the book fair during their school day to choose wish list books for their classroom.
Introducing Links to Home
- We are so excited to introduce our new system Tadpoles. Tadpoles is our online communication tool that allows families to have access to photos and daily reports. Teachers will also use this tool for lesson planning and assessments. This is a great addition to our programming!
We hope everyone has a wonderful month! Please be sure to stop by with any questions or concerns.
