Dear Parents,
We loved celebrating Week of the Young Child and Earth Day with our students and families! Our classrooms spent the week leading up to Earth Day learning about insects, plants, ecology and making art from recycled materials. For Earth Day students made ladybug hats and released 1,500 ladybugs into our school garden. Thank you for joining us for our annual ladybug release.
This month we will be celebrating our amazing teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week (May 7-11). Please join us is helping our teachers know how special and valuable they are!
Muffins for Moms will be on Friday, May 11th. We hope you will join us in the morning for some muffins, fruit, yogurt and more. We always love spending time with our families and look forward to seeing you there.
Finally, the weather is finally getting warmer. Please bring in a labeled sunscreen for your child and warmer weather clothing for your child’s cubby.
As a reminder:
* We are a peanut free school.
* If your child is sick, we will adhere to our sick policy.
* Please make sure to check your child’s cubby and/or mailbox for important information.
I hope you have a fun and safe month!
