Hello Chesterbrook Families,
We loved celebrating Week of the Young Child and Earth Day with our students and families! Our classrooms spent the week leading up to Earth Day learning about insects, plants, ecology and making art from recycled materials. For Earth Day students in Pre-K made ladybug hats and with the help of all our friends released 2,500 ladybugs into Washington Square Park! This month we are busy supporting our school age students as they prepare to wrap up the academic school year. As part of our school age curriculum, our students are working together to get their classroom ready for summer camp and celebrate the end of the year with various activities. Planning for activities as a team helps school age children develop independence and leadership skills. Cannot wait to see all the fun that is ahead!
Sincerely,
Kerry Depka
