Dear Chesterbrook Families,
We had a great first month of 2018 and are looking forward to spending the rest of this winter season with you and your children. Our teachers and staff are hard at work creating meaningful learning experiences for the month of February. Thank you to those of you that participated in our annual parent survey, we appreciate your feedback and support! When the survey results are in, we will be examining them carefully for areas of improvement and will share our plan with you when it’s ready.
During the month of January we had an exciting visit from officers of the Evesham Township Police Department! Tuesday January 9th was National Law Enforcement Day. To honor our local police officers and get a better understanding of how they keep our community safe, the officers spoke with our Pre-Kindergarten students about their role in the community, the equipment they use and read a book with our students. They also briefly stopped into our younger classrooms to say hello to our other students. Law Enforcement Appreciation Day
We turned trash into treasure on Kid Inventors Day, January 17th! Our Beginner B through Pre-Kindergarten students looked through all of the recyclable materials brought in by our families and decided what they could use for their inventions. We had “spinning necklaces,’ flying cars, robots and rocket ships! Below are some of the photos from the day.
February will bring many more exciting, educational and fun-filled activities for our students! Activities will include celebrations of Black History Month and Dental Health Month. Below are some important days:
Friday February 2- EAGLES Pep Rally! Wear your Eagles gear to show support for our team in the Superbowl on Sunday!
Friday February 9- National Pizza Day
Wednesday February 14- Valentine’s Day~ See your child’s teacher for more details
Monday February 19- SCHOOL CLOSED~ Teacher’s Professional Development Day
Have a fabulous February! Please always feel free to see Kasey or Bre with any questions, concerns or compliments!
Sincerely,
Kasey
Cold Weather Reminders
Our students love to play on the playground and we go outside every day (weather permitting). Please make sure your child has a seasonally appropriate change of clothes in their cubby in case they have an accident. Thank you!
We love our parents!
Do you know any parents who have recently moved to the area, are expecting a baby or are unhappy with their current preschool? We value our current parents and would love more families like yours at our school! Refer a new family to our school and your family could receive a free week of tuition. For more information, see Kasey or Bre.
