Dear Chesterbrook Families,
During this unrecognizable Fall Season of weather, we are taking the time to recognize EVERYONE OF YOU whether you know it or not J! We at Chesterbrook – Beverly Crest want you to know that we appreciate your time and trust in us to provide service for your child and family on a daily basis.
Inside of this Season, many things have transpired and your child(ren) have reaped the harvest of benefits (lol)! The transitions from staff to administration have been plentiful and yet, your little ones have remained on target. We have had a successful Charleston Wrap, Yankee Candle, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Fundraiser and at present, the Scholastic Book Fair already proves to be Fundamentally Successful. We started on November 6, 2017 and will end on November 9, 2017 (in school) and November 28, 2017 (on-line).
We will be CLOSED November 10, 2017 to observe Veteran’s Day as our staff will be engaged in our semi-annual Professional Development Day. On November 22. 2017, our families are invited to join their child(ren) in their classes for our annual Thanksgiving Feast. The following days; November 23rd and Friday, November 24th, we will also be closed in Observance of Thanksgiving. Be on the lookout for additional information and upcoming events as it pertains to your child’s development and engagement at Chesterbrook Academy!
One last thing to note regarding the weather; the changes are leaning towards the cold fronts on a more consistent basis. Please take this time to do an inventory check for warmer clothing. Swap out what is in the cubbies so that bodies, heads, hands and feet are covered. The children will go out daily for at least 15-20 minutes’ weather permitting!

ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS
Why spend your evenings and weekends driving to and from practices and programs when your child can participate in there right here at school? Please see the front desk for more information on any of these wonderful programs!
MONDAYS: MUSIC FOR LITTLE ONES @ 10am
Weekly music classes with Music For Little Ones will be lots of fun!! Each week the children will participate in different songs, and activities with music. They will even get to try different musical instruments. They will receive a CD of all songs learned that session. It is a wonderful, musical experience!
TUESDAYS: Soccer Shots @ 10am
Soccer Shots has three rules: Score a goal, be a team player, and HAVE FUN! This is a great way to get some extra physical fitness in and have a blast doing it! Spaces are still available so sign up today!!
WEDNESDAYS: Shining Stars @ 9:30am
Shining Stars mission is to instill the confidence in children to clearly communicate their thoughts and feelings with the world, fearless of large crowds and intimidating settings. There is a performance at the end of each session for children to show off their skills! See the front desk to register.
THURSDAYS: JUMP BUNCH @ 10am
Jump Bunch introduces sports and fitness to your child in a hands-on setting. It builds coordination and interest in sports, teaches through constant praise and encouragement, offers a safe, non-competitive environment, and promotes healthy fitness and nutrition!
FRIDAYS: AMAZING ATHLETES: 10am 
Amazing Athletes is an educational sports program that offers the basic fundamentals of 9 different sports: basketball, baseball, soccer, football, volleyball, hockey, golf, lacrosse, and tennis.
