Dear Chesterbrook Academy Families,
Summer is in full swing, and our summer camp is filled with fun, educational, and stimulating events for all to enjoy. Please make sure your child has plenty of sunscreen this summer, along with sturdy and comfortable shoes. Proper footwear allows your child to actively participate in all of our gross motor activities without the risk of foot injuries.
Teacher of the Month: This month we have chosen Ms. Darrion as our Teacher of the Month. Ms. Darrion consistently works hard to provide her students with opportunities to enjoy learning. Her Parent Reports exceeded our required expectations and emphasized the educational value of our curriculum. Please take the time to stop and congratulate Ms. Darrion on all of her hard work!
Staffing and Schedules: With the change in summer enrollment and requests for some much needed, and deserved, time off a few of our teachers will be adjusting their schedules to allow them more time at home with family and friends. It is always in our best interest to staff according to the needs of our school and families. As we continue through the summer schedules will be re-assessed to prepare for our fall enrollment. Please do not hesitate to stop by the front desk if you have any questions.
As you have noticed, Mrs. Krista has been assisting with office tasks and responsibilities. Over the past few months Mrs. Krista has shown great characteristics that highlight her leadership skills and she has expressed her interest in learning more about our company and opportunities outside of the classroom. Over the summer Mrs. Krista will continue to train in addition to some classroom responsibilities.
