Spring seems like it is finally here. Our children and teacher’s are so excited to get outside and enjoy some outdoor learning and fun. We have begun our garden in many classrooms and are busy transplanting to the outdoor garden this week. We hope to grow many vegetables that our children can nurture from seedlings to table.
We wanted to let you know about some important upcoming dates and events so you can mark your calendar.
Friday, April 21 Earth Day– 10:00 AM we will do Ladybug release. Children should try to dress in black and red.
April 24-April 28 Week of the Young Child– look for upcoming calendar of daily events
May 1- Picture Day. Have your child wear a smile and favorite outfit. Graduates will also be photographed in graduation caps.
May 1- May 8 Parent Appreciation Week- we will honor the wonderful parents of Chesterbrook West Chester with a special recognition event each day.
May 8- May 12 Teacher Appreciation Week– National week to honor teacher’s. We will have various ways you can choose to participate as we recognize the outstanding teacher’s in our school.
May 12- Special Mother’s Day event 4:00-6:00 PM
June 8- Graduation of our children who will be attending Kindergarten in Fall 2017. Event to take place at Chesterbrook Elementary. We have the largest Graduating class since 2000 from West Chester. Families of graduates will receive a special invitation soon. Mark your calendar now.
June 12- Official start of Summer camp. Look for upcoming Activity fee form due by May 15. We have some many wonderful plans for summer we are sure it will be a summer to remember for you and your child!
June 16- Special Father’s Day event 3:30-6:00
