There’s something about the month of March that is fresh and rejuvenating. With flowers in bloom and warm weather on the horizon, what’s not to love about this time of year? Spring hasn’t officially sprung just yet, but it’s certainly peeked it’s head in here and there. Even more earm weather and sunny days are on the way for us to enjoy time at Washington Square Park each day. We can’t wait!

Please check the monitor in the front lobby for a heads up when a spirit day is approaching. Don’t forget that up-to-date information is also available via our school website at any time.
Here’s a quick look at the many things to come this month:
- WACKY WEDNESDAY – Wednesday, March 1st – It’s Dr. Suess’ birthday week, and we absolutely had to celebrate in the silliest of ways! Show off your wildest and craziest outfit in honor of Dr. Suess’ classic tale, Wacky Wednesday.
- PARENT REPORTS DISTRIBUTED – Friday, March 3rd – Second period Parent Reports are here! Check your child’s cubby at pick-up to receive this detailed report on his or her progress in the classroom. As a reminder, you are welcome to contact me at any time if you would like to schedule a conference with your child’s teacher.
- ST. PATRICK’S DAY – Friday, March 17th – Good luck is all around! We’re celebrating our Irish spirit with special St. Patty’s day festivities in each of our classrooms. Dress up in lots of green and silly shamrock gear. Perhaps all of our green attire will attract a little leprechaun!
- LIFETOUCH SPRING PICTURE DAYS – March 22nd & 23rd – Our photographer friends from Lifetouch will be here all morning to take spring-themed photos of our students. Everyone should plan to come dressed to impress! Please note that photo sessions for Beginner B, Intermediates, Pre-K, and Kindergarten will take place on Wednesday. Photo sessions for Infants, Toddlers, and Beginner A will take place on Thursday. More information to come.
- PAJAMA DAY – Tuesday, March 28th – Our #1 spirit celebration! Show off your favorite comfy, cozy sleepwear for our monthly Pajama Day!
