A Note from Our Principal
As the holiday season approaches, we’re excited to celebrate community, diversity, and the joy of giving. Our students will explore various holiday traditions from around the world through hands-on activities, music, art, and more. We believe in creating a nurturing environment that honors the unique traditions of each family, and we look forward to sharing these experiences with your children. Be sure to stay tuned for more details via Links 2 Home. Together, let’s make this holiday season a time of warmth, connection, and shared memories. Thank you for allowing us to teach and care for your children!
Sincerely,
Sarah Mentis
Holiday Giving
‘Tis the season! Our annual Holiday Giving initiative is a way for students to spread cheer while developing an appreciation for what they have, showing gratitude towards others, and seeing the positive impact of their actions. This year, we are collecting monetary donations for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia through their annual Pajama Day Event. On December 6th, we are all encouraged to wear our PJ’s to school in awareness of support for CHOP. You can make donations by scanning the QR code on the CHOP flyers in our school, attached or use the link to donate online. Thank you in advance for your partnership and generosity.
Holiday/Winter Celebrations
Our students will be celebrating the holidays with fun classroom activities on December 13, 2024.
Scholastic Book Fair
Our annual Scholastic Book Fair is in our school lobby starting TOMORROW until Friday, December 6th. How it works: The book fair runs like any store, shop for the books you would like and bring the books to Sarah’s office to purchase. Payments used can be any card payment, Google/Apple Pay. Please no cash as we do not have change. 40% of our sales go back to our school to purchase books for our classrooms! Purchases can be made anytime during school hours, please do not try to purchase books after picking up at 6:00pm. If myself or Myesha are unavailable at the time you would like to purchase books, we are happy to put your books on hold until we are available.
Family Referral Bonus
Do you know a colleague who has recently had a baby, a friend in need of care who just relocated to the area, or a family member who is seeking a new preschool for their child? When you refer a friend and they enroll, you’re eligible for a free week of tuition. Ask us for details!
