Dear CBA Families,
From apple and pumpkin-themed activities to leaf hunts and more, we’ve enjoyed all sorts of autumn fun and learning throughout October. This month, we will embark on a journey of fostering connections and celebrating family traditions as we nurture the spirit of Thanksgiving and togetherness. Our students will engage in activities that inspire gratitude and kindness by sharing personal experiences and learning about the importance of giving back to our community.
We want to thank each and every one of you who joined us last week for our Fall Festival. It was great to see our families join together for laughter, fun, and friendship! November is a time when we often reflect on what we are grateful and thankful for. We are truly grateful for the daily opportunity that we have to serve our CBA families. Thank you for entrusting us with the care and education of your children. We look forward to another month of joy and learning!
November is shaping up to be a busy month here at CBA! Mrs. Kristie will go out on leave November 6th and will return November 25th. We will be closed on Monday, November 11th for our Professional Development Day. On November 13th and 14th we will be having our Lifetouch Picture days. We will close early on November 27th and we will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday on November 28th and 29th.
This month we will also hold our annual food drive. We will be collecting canned goods and non-perishable items to donate to a local food pantry. We will send out a list of items they are in need of; however, they will accept any donations we are willing to give. There will be boxes outside of your child’s classroom door for the items starting on Friday, November 1st. We will be collecting items up until November 22nd. There are a lot of important dates to remember and all of them can be found on the monthly calendar on our website.
As a reminder, please check your child’s cubby to see if it needs a refresh of spare clothing items. We also suggest reading their daily report each day to ensure you are getting all of the updates and reminders being sent home.
As always, thank you for all that you do to partner with us and support us each and every day!
Sincerely,
Kristie Salmon
