A Note from Our Principal
The year is off to a great start and we’re enjoying spending the winter season with you and your children. If you have not already done so, please send an extra set of weather-appropriate clothes for your child. We want everyone to be able to participate in fun outdoor activities, so please be sure to provide appropriate outerwear. As always, working with and watching your children grow is an honor. Black History Month
Black History Month is an annual celebration of achievements by African Americans and a time for recognizing their central role in U.S. history. Our students will learn about local and influential African Americans through books, learning experiences, and classroom discussions.
Valentine’s Day
We will be celebrating Valentine’s Day on Wednesday, February 14th. Children are invited to bring in valentines to share with their classmates and will participate in Valentine-themed activities throughout the day. Please see classroom sign-ups on your child’s classroom door.
Priority Re-Enrollment
Priority re-enrollment starts February 5th! Take advantage of our registration discount and secure your child’s spot for next school year. More information will be sent via Links 2 Home.
Family Referral Bonus
Do you know a colleague who has recently had a baby, a friend in need of care who just relocated to the area, or a family member who is seeking a new preschool for their child? When you refer a friend and they enroll, you’re eligible for a free week of tuition. Ask us for details!
Did You Know?
Moving to music helps children learn to move their muscles in different ways. Songs with unfamiliar words increase vocabulary!
Special Upcoming Visits from our Sister Elementary School!
This month, we will have a visit from Mr. Leonardo and his “Roaring Readers and Leaders,” the 5th graders from our sister school, Sagemont Prepatory School. The 5th graders will read to our students the morning of February 27th. We are thrilled to have an opportunity for students to participate in these rich learning experiences and get to know the 5th grade class from our very own Sagemont Preparatory School.
