Dear CBA Denver Families,
This month, we will embark on a journey of fostering connections and celebrating cherished family traditions, as we nurture the spirit of Thanksgiving and togetherness. Our preschoolers will be engaged in activities that inspire gratitude and kindness, such as creating festive crafts, sharing personal experiences, and learning about the importance of giving back to our community.
We want to thank each and every one of you who joined us last month for our Fall Festival. We love when our families are able to join together for laughter, fun, and friendship! November is a time when we often reflect on what we are grateful and thankful for. We are truly grateful for the daily opportunity that we have to serve our CBA families. We are thankful for each and every one of you and that you continue to allow us to be a part of your child’s educational journey!
November is sure to be a busy month here at CBA! We will be closed on Friday, November 10th for our Professional Development Day. On November 15th and 16th we will be having our Lifetouch Picture days. Our annual Thanksgiving Feast will be held during your child’s lunch time on Thursday, November 16th. Families are welcome to attend and we are asking that you sign up at the front desk if you plan to join us so that we can accurately prepare. We will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday on November 23rd and 24th.
This month we will also hold our annual food drive. We will be collecting canned goods and nonperishable items to donate to a local food pantry. We have sent out a list of donations that they are requesting and it can also be found at the front desk; however, they will accept any donations we are willing to give. There will be boxes outside of your child’s classroom door for the items starting on Monday, October 30th. We will be collecting items up until November 17th. There are a lot of important dates to remember and all of them can be found on the monthly calendar on our website.
As a reminder, please check your child’s cubby to see if it needs a refresh of spare clothing items. We also suggest reading their daily report each day to ensure you are getting all of the updates and reminders being sent home.
As always, thank you for all that you do to partner with us and support us each and every day!
Sincerely,
Kristie Salmon
