From Our Principal:
It’s July, and Summer Camp is in full swing! We are so excited to have kicked off our Camp with such great entertainers. Yogi Dance was as wonderful as we remembered it from last year, and Ms. Lori was fantastic . She sang songs, taught the children a few new dances like “The Dinosaur Stomp,” “The Iguana Crawl,” “The Crab Walk,” and “Jump.” She gave them a real workout, but no one complained. They loved it! And shhh-so did Ms. Gina who got up and did every dance with them!
Water Play finally happened after our Air Quality Alert was lifted. The children love running through the sprinklers and being sprayed by their teachers and our new Dinosaur Sprinkler. It was especially fun on our new Playground Turf.
Staff News:
We are excited to have hired Ms. Marcille to assist Ms. Heather in School Age Camp this year, and Ms. Kendra who has been working in Kindergarten Enrichment and helping in other classrooms as well. Both have transitioned easily into their roles and have been doing a great job. Ms. Kayla has been helping with the Infants and Toddlers. She attends West Chester University and works at one of our other CBA’s during the school year. She has been a wonderful addition to our staff and we will miss her when she has to go back to school in August. We will also be welcoming three other new staff this month-Ms. Sarah, Ms. Jessalyn, and Mr. Josh. Ms. Jessalyn will be here for the summer while Ms. Sarah and Mr. Josh will become part of our full time school staff. This is all great news !
