Welcome to the wild and wonderful month of March! We have so many fun and exciting things happening this month. We start off our first week with Dr. Seuss’s birthday bash. Each day of the week will bring a host of fun and reading. There will be color days, crazy hat days, crazy hair days, and pajama day to end the week.
As the month goes on, we start preparing for a visit or two from those mischievous Leprechauns. The children put on their thinking caps and plan how they can create a special trap to capture one or two. In all of the years of trying, we just have not been able to create the perfect trap, but maybe this year will be different.
Progress Reports and Child Service Reports have been completed and are ready for your perusal and signature. You will be given one copy to sign that we will keep and another for you to take home. If you have any questions or concerns about any of the areas evaluated, please feel free to address them with your child’s teacher or request a time for a conference.
The weather has been anything but normal this winter, so please make sure your child has the appropriate clothing for going outside to play each day. Please check their cubbies as well to make sure that they still have an extra change of clothes and that they are weather appropriate as well. Thank you.
It was great to see that so many of you were able to take advantage of the Early Bird Registration Discount. For anyone who missed the deadline, there is still time to re-enroll with 25% off. That special discount will end March 17th, so don’t delay. There are extra forms on the front desk if you do not have one.
Please make sure that you are observing safety in the parking lot at drop off and pick up times. Please do not leave your cars running and please do not leave small children in the car unattended. If you need us to assist you with bringing a child down to you, we most certainly will. Call us when you arrive, and we will be happy to help.
Just as a quick reminder, Daylight Savings Time starts on Sunday, March 12th. Set your clocks ahead an hour and spring forward!
