A Note from our Principal
The holiday season is a time to celebrate community, diversity, and the universal joy of giving. Our students will be learning about traditions observed around the world by singing songs, making art, tasting seasonal treats, and so much more! We’ll be sending additional information in the coming weeks via Links 2 Home.
With that being said, we would love to learn about your family traditions! We are looking to invite parents or grandparents in as guest speakers to tell the students about your family’s culture or traditions. If you are interested in participating, please visit link below and input the requested information. Administration will reach out to get things started!
** This does NOT have to be just about the holiday season. We are looking to make this a year-round opportunity, so if your family would like to talk about something at a different time of the year, we can schedule that as well!

As always, thank you for allowing us to teach and care for your children.

Illness at School
As we all know, winter is coming.
Winter is typically when we see the most sicknesses happening within our building. As always, we are following all of the proper cleaning policies in attempt to decrease the spread of illness. Handwashing is the best defense; teachers and children are washing hands before and after meals, after outside play, after diapering/ pottying, and after messy play. The teachers also take extra care sanitizing and disinfecting toys and surfaces in the classroom, both throughout the day and at the end of the day. Our evening cleaning crew disinfects floors, doorknobs, and flat surfaces nightly.
Flu-Shot Regulation Update
With flu-shot season upon, I want to share a newer regulation.
It is required that all parents supply us with a copy of your child’s shot records indicating that they received a flu shot this year. If your child is NOT getting the flu shot, a handwritten note stating that you are not having your child receive the shot with the parent signature and date at the bottom must be turned in.
If your child has already received a flu shot, it will most likely be indicated in their wellness report at the pediatrician’s office. Some facilities have a portal in which this can be printed from home. If you have any questions regarding this, please feel free to reach out!
Thank you!
Welcome Our New Teacher!
Alexandra K – Intermediates – I have been working in childcare since 2015. I live in Springfield, PA with my mom, dad, and younger sister Diana. When I have free time, I like to watch movies and TV shows. I also enjoy hanging out with my friends, going to the beach, and trying new restaurants.
A Cubby Refresh
Please make sure to refresh the spare clothing in your child’s cubby. Take home anything that no longer fits and leave a spare set of well-fitting, weather-appropriate clothes, including a winter hat and gloves and please remember to label, label, label!
Thanks to everyone who participated in our school-wide Thankful Turkey project! It was a huge hit!
As the holidays are approaching, we always like to show the teachers how much they are appreciated. Be on the lookout for the list of our teachers favorite things through email.
