A Note From Our Principal
The holiday season is a time to celebrate community, diversity, and the universal joy of giving. Our students will be learning about traditions observed around the world by singing songs, making art, tasting seasonal treats, and so much more! We’ll be sending additional information in the coming weeks via Links 2 Home. As always, thank you for allowing us to teach and care for your children.
Sincerely,
Shelly Poe
Holiday Giving
Our annual holiday giving initiative is a way for students to spread cheer this holiday season while developing an appreciation for what they have, showing gratitude towards others, and seeing the positive impact of their actions. This year, we are collecting Gift cards for Olney Help to help teenagers in need.
Olney HELP is a nonprofit organization that provides short-term emergency food and financial assistance to individuals and families in Olney, Sandy Spring, Ashton, Brinklow, and Brookeville MD since 1969.
As part of our kids helping kids’ campaign, we are partnering with Olney Help to collect Gift Cards for local children ages 10-18. Some holiday gift card suggestions are Target, Amazon, Walmart.
We will collect Gift Cards from November 28th to December 9th. Last year, we were able to collect 50 gift cards for Olney Help. This year, we would love to match our goal!
